Franky is the CNC machine being rebuilt for Puffincove. We’re keeping the good parts and fitting a smaller 3-by-5-foot working area, with a new Z-axis and gantry. The Cove is getting ready to become his workshop: first we finish closing it in, cut Franky’s parts and the Z-axis, then bring everything together. After assembly, we can wire, test, and tune him before he cuts his first Puffincove pieces. One step at a time.
